Environment:	Stephansson House is located in a rural setting, several miles north of Markerville. It is adjacent to an existing farmstead, owned by Stephansson's son.
Condition:	Poor. When last inspected (March 74) this building was deteriorating quite rapidly. Foundations are weak and wood rot is setting into logs. Restoration is imperative to preservation of this structure. Roof leaks in places.
